It's amazing how much a person can change over the years. As we grow up meet our husbands and wives, have children and really become adults. Gosh 15 years ago I figured it would never happen. I was going to be in school forever wishing I was an adult forever. Or at least it seemed that way then.
My best friend from Middle School moved back to the area after many many years of being away. Thanks to myspace we had tracked each other down about 6 years or so ago and had been talking on the phone. We had been through pregnancy, new babies and such together over the phone.
Its amazing to me how different someone can be over the phone vs. in person. So she moves back to the greater Seattle area. I a bit worried how things might go and I couldn't have been more right to be worried.
Long story short.... She spent less than 7 months living here. There was no changing her, helping her or making her become the adult she needs to be to be able to raise her child.
Over the months she was here it gave me a new respect for the life long friends I do have and my amazing friends I have made as an adult. You all are the best and I love you so much. Thanks for making life wonderful and fun, filled with endless laughs, some tears and wonderful memories.

Small Talk and Coco Puffs
While talking to one of my greatest friends in the world today. I heard one of the funnest things ever! Her second youngest who Bella has stated to be her best friend in the whole wide world was freaking out about having poop on her skirt. While her mother is tending to her child trying to figure out how it happened. I'm laughing....
Then I here " That's Not Poop! It's a Coco Puff!"
I'm sorry but kids are just too cute!
I can see it now....
I'll be alone in the cereal section at the store I will spot a box of Coco Puffs and start laughing. People will be looking at me strangely and then over the loud speaker you will "We need Crazy Lady Clean up on Isle 10" There I'll be on Isle 10 being hauled out in a straight jacket...

How funny is this?
I'm writing my 50th blog on the day I'm 1/2 way to 50....
I got up today thinking I was just going to start telling people that I'm not really 25 that I over counted or forgot what year I was born. Once I figured out that it wasn't going to work I gave up.
This is the last time I will ever say that I'm 25. My aunt requested that I not tell anyone how old I am because that just makes her even older.
I got the best birthday gift a girl could ever ask for today. Scott turned on the video camera last night and taped the kids dressed up singing happy birthday and kept filming while there were being their normal crazy wild and fun kids. I am so lucky to have such a great family and wonderful babies.
I want to say thank you to all my wonderful friends too! I don't know what I would do without you!
Tracy I love you and miss you like crazy we watched home videos today. We watched the one from Bella's party. Virgina needs to be closer to Washington, I thinking about just moving Washington over there or Virgina over here. If that were only possible.
Well I'm off to watch the Golden Girls or something, and yes I do feel that old....
Being 300 months old stinks.

My Amazing Best Friend and a Special Gift
On Wednesday July 9th shortly after 9am my best friend Andra entered the OR where her left kidney was removed to save her son's life.
Both Andra and baby Andre are doing GREAT!!!
She is such a brave and wonderful woman who was able to do something that most of us will never know what it feels like. Give her son life for the second time.

TACOMA, Wash. -- Baby Andre Mosesly is only 2 years old, but he already understands what it's like to be in serious pain. Andre was born with an infections smile and a kidney disease. His kidneys failed to clean his blood or remove toxins and fluids, so surgeons removed them.Baby Andre handles his daily dialysis sessions like a pro. With a little help from mom, who distracts him during the painful procedure, he manages to stomach the treatment even grownups dread. "The last two years he's been in the hospital almost every single day," said Korbett Mosesly, his father. At his young age, Andre is about to get a second chance at life. In two weeks his mother will give him one of her own kidneys. "It just means I'm going to have a normal baby," said mother Andra Mosesly. "That's the most important part is that my son will be able to play in the water, and take a bath and do the things normal kids do."Giving Andre a chance to live a normal life will solve just one of Moseslys' worries. The mounting bills have left them clinging to the one thing they still have -- hope. "We don't have anything. We don't have anything," said Korbett. Both Korbett and Andra have taken medical leave. Dad even quit college four credits shy of a degree. Between dialysis, driving to the hospital and rearing their two other children, there's not much time left for work. "Next month we're not going to have any income and, as scary as it sounds, I know it'll be OK," said Korbett. But the reality of family's struggles are apparent, even to Andre. The boy already knows things no 2-year-old should have to learn. He can even say the word "hemodialysis."Children's Hospital is covering Andre's medical expenses. Extra Extra Read All About It
As most of you know I'm planning on homeschooling my children. While at the Homeschool convention a few weekends back. My mother having the best idea in the whole world ( NOT ) signed me up to sell books. I guess its a way to make some extra cash and earn great books for the kids. Most everyone that is reading this knows me and are now wondering how in the heck I'm going to sell something! I know I'm still trying to figure it out. You all know about those candle, basket and whatever everyone else is trying to sell parties? The ones that I try my hardest to always get out of. I get to host them, tons of them. I'm guessing more than I even want to think about at that point. So if you are a true friend of mine you wont make me have a party. You will buy then online right from my very own website! Maybe I will have online book parties, or at least that is what I will call them.

Sweet Baby Andre

This Saturday is Andre's Party! He is Two years old. His Brothers are Kaisean(5) and Deanon(4). He was born with a Kidney disease, congenital nephrotic syndrome, and after 1 year of surgeries and albumin infusions three hours a day 7 days a week at Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital we had to remove his kidneys. Since Andre has no Kidneys he has been doing hemo-dialysis 5-6 days a week at Seattle Children's Hospital awaiting Transplant.
If it were your son and family . . .
what would you do?
As a father faced with something I cannot change, I've done the best I could and changed the things I can. Including changing my community. I've given a lot through Message Magazine and anywhere I could, hoping the more I gave the more I wo uld be successful and provide for my family. Andre has given me broad shoulders, cause nothing that I can go through can compare to what he must. What I have to teach my boys is that no matter what the must keep moving with there dreams and be happy. I met another mother thats daughter past away from kidney disease, yesterday. A hard reminder of how serious kidney disease can be. Mothers and Father aren't supposed to outlive thier kids. I remember the Dr. saying often if we don't do this surgery, line placements, nephrectomy, Andre will die. . . Now how does that sound, "He's one years old". I told them "my wife didn't give birth to a kidney disease, his name is Andre, he's my little boy, what do we got to do". On July 9th Andre will have a kidney disease from my wife, Andra and it will be a success, but Andre will have many surgeries in his life and need a little extra to grow. He is my blessing! A singer, dancer, thinker, tough, destined to solve problems in the world. He is funny, intellegent, a real talker, love to hug, and says hi to most every one he sees.
I need your help! . . . and I'm willing to pay back your support by working to build a better community. That is my offer that I have a proven ability to do so. Help me take care of a trying time with my family and I'll give you me. Here's what Iv'e done this year for my community.
printed 15 editions of Message Magazine to "inspire, educate, and promote growth" on issues from homelessness, to donating/volunteering, supporting community events and family activities. To many examples to name but printed well over 100,000 copies. Supported small businesses and social/community issues. Organized Men in Action 125 men of color to address issues that affect men in our community. Started a Message Magazine Young Writers Challenge rewarding y oung writers (our first winner wrote about a young girl from the Gaza strip). Highlighted many young writers. Volunteered time to help out creative tacoma, drug free communities campaign, disporportianate minority contact, and other events. Worked with youth in our area to build a youth led media magazine they plan to release in September. Conected with Washington Society of CPA's, to give high school student money for writen about saving money, we awarded over 1,000 dollars to high school students last week. Working to organize a community rebuilding campaign with MLK housing in a week long campaign fixing windows, fences, painting, and yard work. Discuss topics about legislation, education, and oppotunities to youth. Created a youth magazine last summer with Youth. Helped promote the Pierce County Jail Forum. . . . I've been doing my part and still made my family first reading books, involved in their school, coaching soccer, . . . doing my best.
I've been giving! Now I'm asking for your support! Please Send and In-kind Donation to the Mosesly Family 1915 South L St. Tacoma, WA 98405 or Come by this Saturday at Peoples Park as we celebrate Andre's upcomming transplant donate and meet our family. I put together a free event for the community with entertainment, music, a 40ft blow-up obstacle course for Kids, fire truck and special appearances.

Love Hugs Prayers and Good Wishes
About 12 hours from now.
Tracy and my girls will be on a plane headed back home. The Boys are driving across county seeing the sights and enjoying some quality guy time together.
So tonight I sit and I pray.
For a safe and sane flight all the way home.
Keep the boys safe while they drive.
I hope that tomorrow everyone wakes up well and rested for their long journey.
We love you all so much and wish you the best.

Saying Goodbye....
But trying to remember that it isn't forever.
Very dear friends of ours are moving back home to Virgina in less than 2 days.
I have said goodbye to other's before, but for some reason this one hit me really hard. I have never met such an amazing family and what a wonderful women she is. I wish that there were more people in the world like her. At the same time that is what makes her so special. Tracy we love you so much!
They will be missed, but I need to remember that it isn't forever and we will see them again.
