A 1 year old?
So sweet baby Chloe is the first one in our house (children wise) that has figured out the safety latch on our stove.
A trip to the store will be in order to pick something else up to keep her out.
Just watch and see how she does it.
Until Next Time,
Just MOM

Saving our Planet
I'm sure that most of us do our part in saving our planet.
I try my hardest to turn the lights off when I leave a room. I don't run the water while I'm brushing my teeth. I use environmentally friendly cleaners and I don't use paper towels or paper plates. I try to recycle everything that I can and only put out 1 trash can on garbage day, but that doesn't always happen.
I do have a ton of laundry I wash everyday and I take long showers. Not everyone is perfect, but I think my 4 year old is. She gets mad when we pick flowers, and you shouldn't cut down trees. She wont touch meat because "Animals are our friends". She never flushes the potty and she would be happy never to take another bath again. She would be more than happy to wear the same thing everyday without ever having me wash it.
The best thing that I have ever seen from recycling would be. The pick up that my father restored.
Now that is what I call recycling!

I GOT IT!
After 6+ years of peanut butter and jelly sandwich making. I am happy to say that I have figured out how to stir the peanut butter without spilling it.
I know that's a long time, but I guess I was always in a hurry or just didn't have my thinking cap on.
As most of you know I'm a bit of a nut well kinda a nut about what my kids eat. I try to make sure its all organic and natural. Just forget that I took them to Mc D's a few short hours ago.
We eat Adam's peanut butter you know the one you need to stir then refrigerate. I have always had a hard time with the stirring part. Anytime I would stir it there would be this huge mess then by the time we got to the bottom of the peanut butter jar it would be so dry that you couldn't spread it on the bread. So I was forced to eat it, cause God forbid you not eat every last little bit you could scrape out of the jar.
So yesterday I figured it out!
The ART of stirring Adams peanut butter. You move the spoon up and down until it is fully mixed! OMG I didn't spill a drop!
Yes you must use a spoon. Because then that way when you are done stirring you get to eat whatever ends up on that spoon!
I hope everyone is having a great day, and I hope your having an even better day now that you know I can stir peanut butter!
Until next time I decide that I have something fun or interesting to share.
Yours Truly,
Just MOM

High Heeled Shoes and Speed Stick! Swimming in a Sea of LEGO's
Lets take it from the beginning.
Bella got a really cute pair of Sparkly Red High Heels and while I was trying to apply band aids to all of the "boo boo's" that had been caused from those great shoes. Chloe decided to get into things in the bathroom without my knowledge. Picture this Bella yelling "fix my feet, I must be fancy" while I chase Chloe around who is now laughing so hard she cant even run straight trying to get her to stop so I can remove the speed stick from her mouth.
The whole time Avery has no idea what is going on because he cant take his eyes off the Sea of Lego's on the table. Since we got home yesterday with his new "big boy" Lego's he has been building non stop. We just did our own episode "Cribs" in photo's for this blog.
( Thank you Tracy & Co. he really does love them)
I'm off to work on the never ending river of laundry.
Until Next Time,
JM

What is a girl to do?

It's Thursday already and I haven't done a single thing is this darn house of mine.
Over the weekend we painted the walls the very most perfect shade of yellow. Thank you April at Parker Paint and yes you were right. Now I just need to find something else to cover that nice hole above my fireplace. So my oh so beautiful rug can go into my kitchen where it belongs. I have an even better idea maybe we could patch the hole, and then I wont have to find something large enough to cover it!
So it's not even 9am yet. I have done 2 loads of laundry the kids have all had breakfast twice. I am on my second cup of coffee. I decided to take a run up to the second floor to check out the playroom. A place that I try not to step foot into the room is covered with land mines ( matchbox cars ) and other great things to step on. I have no clue as to what to do in that room. It looks like a bomb has gone off. Too bad there isn't a team of people you can call to help with relief efforts. How would one search for that. Google? Maybe the yellow pages?
"playroom disaster clean-up"
This is how I picture it....
A bunch of people sitting around answering frantic phone calls from thousands of mothers all around the globe who's husband is about to come home and you just know that the question will be asked " What did you all do today"? So all women and children are in a hurry to make sure everything looks like it did before he left. Maybe there will be a number you can dial like 411.
So I pick up the phone dial 123 and the line is ringing.....
" Playroom disaster hotline, whats your emergency"?
At this point they dispatch a cleaning crew. I'm told for an extra fee they will do children's bedrooms as well. If there is time.... A Chloe bomb just went off now there are toys all over the stairs. I wonder if that was included in my yearly fee to Playroom Disaster Inc. ? I wonder if any of their crew is skilled in home repairs?
Oh if that were only possible... I think every house wife and stay at home mom would be set. Just think about never having to pick up a toy again!
I would love to finish that off with Hubby walking into a clean house where all the children are happy and all smiles with a home cooked meal on the table and a pie cooling in the window.
PRICELESS
Now that my hopes are up for a cleaning crew. I will turn into that crew myself once I figure out when I want to do something today.
Now for Kiddo News
Avery has two new dirt bike toys that he cant seem to stop playing with.
Bella cant wait until her party she is still trying to figure out how she is going to be 4.
Chloe well shes Chloe sweet as always. She got a new pair of shoes that she never wants to take off.
Well 4 cups of coffee later and a bit of make believe I am off to get this party started... If you want to call cleaning a party.
Until next time,
Just Mom

WOW its been 8 days!

I cant believe that its been 8 long days since I posted a blog.Over this past weekend we moved my mother. Yes that includes the kids too!
Avery helped by driving in the truck and helping with the "heavy" stuff.
Bella spent the day telling my mother where things would look good in her new place.
Along with asking grandma if she was going to take her bugs (flies) with her.
Chloe spent the day connected to one of those kid leaches that look like a backpack running around like a crazy person and picking up anything she could find on the floor.
Then while we were unloading the truck. The girls were inside playing at grandma's new place with change and matches! I guess what happens at grandma's should stay at grandma's.
Nothing like hearing while packing in loads of stuff "Chloe don't put the matches in your mouth!"
Just what every mother wants to hear.
Sunday was dicks burgers and loads of laundry. My Bella who doesn't eat meat ate a burger maybe she wasn't feeling well.
Monday was Scott's first day at his new job. The kids and I sat at home not knowing what to do after he had been home with us for 3 weeks.
Bella also decided she wanted to "practice being someone else " while sporting a red smiley face sticker between her eyes.
Tuesday was view day at Ballet. It's always so much fun to watch a 3 year old dance it really is such a fun age. One of the best ages, but aren't they all fun? Bella was the demo girl for what make up they all need to wear and how to apply it for the big show in June.
In Avery's words " She looks like a Monster"
Note to self... Remember this when trying to make my little girl look sweet the day of her recital.
Apply more make up than anyone should ever wear.
After Ballet we went to play with the Hocketts. 1.) my kids need to get out more often 2.) Think of a way to make sure they don't move 3.) Remember to make sure they know how much they mean to us all when they do leave. 4.) Do this within the 27 days that they are here. 5.) Try to talk Scott into moving to Virgina 6.) Start saving for a Vacation to Virgina when he tells me we can't move.
Right before bed Avery lost his second tooth!
Wednesday we removed the ugly nonsense molding in the middle of the wall. Knowing under that the wall is red so now it looking like I decided to paint a red stripe in the middle of the wall. Only a few days until the whole wall is painted yellow! Oh and the tooth fairy came.
Yesterday we didn't do too much.
That brings me to today! Its a little after 11am the kids are up playing Chloe just got up from her morning nap. I need to do laundry and pick up the playroom. Everyone is still in Pj's and I'm sure it will remain that way all day! I'm sure I will clean something at some point today.
At some point last week I cant even remember what day. The binkie fairy who is the sister of the tooth fairy made a visit to our house. I am happy to say that Bella no longer has any binkies and is doing GREAT!
Here are a bunch of photos from the week and pictures of that darn wall I was talking about.

What do you say when? Continued...
The last What do you say when? Had such a huge response I couldn't help but make another one. I have a feeling there will be many many more!
On our way home from our Mother’s day Bike ride. The big kids were in the back seat fighting as usual. The normal “she’s looking at me” “He touched me” stuff.
Well Miss Bella had enough with whatever Avery was doing. When she said “ Brother go back to your country”
Well Miss Bella had enough with whatever Avery was doing. When she said “ Brother go back to your country”
What do you say to that?
Monday the kids were watching Sesame Street. Avery runs over to the Television yelling “Bella its that boy, its that boy”
Bella comes tearing into the room and they are both so happy that “the boy” is on the TV.
Bella comes tearing into the room and they are both so happy that “the boy” is on the TV.
I glance over wondering what they are talking about. A little boy with Down Syndrome is having his birthday party.
We have had this conversation before. Why me? Why my kids? Someone please help me!
I guess Homeschooling is a good idea after all. At this rate my kids are never going to be able to leave the house again.
Until Next Time,
Just Mom
